"Roads" magazine applies a double-blind peer review procedure, ensuring objectivity, impartiality, and high quality of scientific assessment. The procedure applies only to scientific and applied research articles.
General Principles
- All submitted scientific and applied articles that meet the thematic scope and technical requirements of the magazine are subject to scientific peer review.
- Reviewing is carried out by at least two independent external reviewers, specialists in the respective scientific field.
- The process is double-blind — neither the authors nor the reviewers disclose their identity during the review process.
Procedure
The article is checked for compliance with the scope, scientific standards, and technical requirements.
Prior to submission for review, the author(s) remove all data allowing their identification.
The anonymized manuscript is sent to a reviewer.
The reviewer evaluates the submitted article based on established criteria.
The reviewer submits a final conclusion regarding the article.
Recommendations are provided in the review to improve the article.
