📄 FOR AUTHORS

The editorial board of "Roads" magazine accepts for publication original scientific, applied, and popular articles, analyses, reviews, and reports that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. All scientific and applied articles undergo a double-blind peer review process.

By submitting an article, you agree to the editorial policy, ethical guidelines, and peer review procedure. Requirements for articles (format, volume, structure) are provided in the template here.

Authors shall submit:

Full version of the article

In Word format, according to the provided template.

Anonymized version

Upon editorial approval, authors must anonymize the article in Word format according to the provided checklist. This applies only to scientific and applied articles subject to peer review.

Combined Declaration

Regarding originality, conflict of interest, and granting of publication rights — upon approval, the declaration is sent to the author at the email address provided in the form.

The editorial board reserves the right to return articles for technical revision.

Anonymization Requirements

Double-Blind Review

To ensure objectivity, authors are required to submit a version of the article from which all identifying data has been removed.

1. Within the text
  • Remove author names
  • Remove institutional affiliations
  • Remove emails and ORCID IDs
  • Remove acknowledgments
  • Remove information regarding funding
2. Self-citation
  • Self-citations must be formulated neutrally (e.g., "Author, 2022")
  • Avoid phrases such as "in our previous study"
3. Files and technical data
  • Remove file metadata
  • Disable "Track Changes"
  • Remove all comments
  • Ensure the filename does not contain the author's name
📋 PEER REVIEW

"Roads" magazine applies a double-blind peer review procedure, ensuring objectivity, impartiality, and high quality of scientific assessment. The procedure applies only to scientific and applied research articles.

  • All submitted scientific and applied articles that meet the thematic scope and technical requirements of the magazine are subject to scientific peer review.
  • Reviewing is carried out by at least two independent external reviewers, specialists in the respective scientific field.
  • The process is double-blind — neither the authors nor the reviewers disclose their identity during the review process.

Anonymization

Prior to submission for review, the author(s) remove all data allowing their identification.

Submission for Review

The anonymized manuscript is sent to a reviewer.

The reviewer evaluates the submitted article based on established criteria.

Final Conclusion

The reviewer submits a final conclusion regarding the article.

Recommendations to the Author

Recommendations are provided in the review to improve the article.
